The Misadventures of Kiwi

The Misadventures of Kiwi

This is Kiwi. Kiwi belongs to my nephew’s pre-school and each child got to take him home for a week and was tasked with taking photos of him around their house. When it was my nephew’s turn he brought Kiwi to the farm to get pictures of him driving the tractor and riding the horses, but Kiwi was accidentally left behind so we did what any good Aunt and Uncle would do and took him straight back. No I’m kidding, we’re actually terrible people. We hatched a diabolical plan to hold Kiwi to ransom, and with the assistance of Helper Julian, set about sending a series of photos to my sister.

We have a well stocked toy box for the kids so after a bit of digging around we found all the bits and pieces we needed to create the “Terror Teds”. Grandpa got in on the joke too and provided the pool-side photos, but the real hero of our shenanigans is Ben-D, our poseable horse. Ben-D has quite a bit of character and it is something of a game for us to hide him around the house in strange places or poses for others to find (more on that later…). But enough text, here’s the pictures!

Indiana Ben-D didn’t have any luck, and nearly lost his hat under a rolling boulder – where did that come from!?

Karate Ben couldn’t save Kiwi either

The name’s D. Ben-D.

Oh dear…

This rescue is beginning to look like Mission Impossible…
